IT Directors Forum is the largest Forum, addressing IT Directors and CIOs in Greece. Its mission is to analyse Information Technology’s business value and to assist the CIO become a strategic partner of the Board.
Organized for the 11th consecutive year, it brings together high quality content through internationally renowned speakers, panel discussions, on-stage interviews, active participation of Greek CIOs, COOs, and CFOs, as well as the analysis of proven IT success stories and case studies.
Being a proved CIO gathering in Greece, the Forum has created a strong community around it, as it attracts more than 200 participants from large and medium-sized enterprises in Greece. Delegates come from nearly all business sectors, but mostly from Telecoms, Banking, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG and Media.
Each year, IT Directors’ Forum puts a ‘provocative’ theme on its agenda, organising a large advertising and promotional campaign for months before the actual event, via Netweek magazine - the only magazine addressing the CIO community in Greece -, NetFax – a daily e-newsletter for the IT and Telecoms industries -, direct e-mailings, as well as prominent business newspapers & newsletters. This way, the Forum becomes the point-of-reference for the CIO and COO community in Greece for a long period of time, climaxing on the day of the Forum.
This year the conference hosts

In the past, this event has hosted keynote speakers such as: Gerry Pennell, OBE, the European CIO of the year 2013 and former CIO of the London Olympic Games 2012 (at ITDF ’14), Aneesh Chopra, former CTO of the US Government (at ITDF ’12), Nicholas G. Carr, the writer of the renowned article and book: “IT Doesn’t Matter” (at ITDF ’06), Ian Campbell, CIO of Transport for London (at ITDF ’11), Thornton May, Dean IT Leadership Academy (at ITDF ’10), Aneesh Chopra (at ITDF ’12) etc.
